Default Make Items In Equiptment Bag Unsellable To Merchant

Ever since the bags come out gw have said they are for your weps and armour but many times when i need to clear bags quickly i end up nearly merchanting my rares and i bet im not the only one.

What im proposing is when a item is put into a equiptment bag it becomes untradeable to a merchant like a quest item or a tormented item.

tell me what you think

Stop clearing bags quickly.

Seriously, this is not GW's problem, this is your problem, and it's not difficult to solve IMHO.

If you customize an item or have it on an equipment slot, GW already warns you when you try to merch it.

You can also select each bag (Backpack, Belt Pouch, Bag 1, Bag 2, and Equipment Pack) when you have the merchant menu open. When you start, all are open for the merchant to see, but selecting them will prevent him from seeing them.

Your idea already exists, you just aren't using it.

If I need to sell a lot of things all at once, I usually block the items I want to save or look at later(items to be salvaged off of items). I place all to items to save at the bottom slots of the bags and the place something non-sellable(tome or EotN book) to the space immediately in front of it, then go to the Merchant, and click away, it will stop at the first item that cannot be sold.

When on the sell panel at the merchant at the top left corner there is a place to check off what bags you want to be able to not sell stuff out of. Solving your problem is already available to you. Just look around.

This. Feature you are looking for is already implemented.

As stated, slow down and use the features that are already implemented in game to take care of problems like this.
